Summer 2018 | New Exhibit | Music in Cleburne

Come and see our new exhibit, Music in Cleburne, featuring musical instruments, recording and playing devices, and photographs from the museum’s collection. Opening in July.

Plan Your Visit

Located at 201 N. Caddo St in downtown Cleburne, one block from the courthouse. The museum is near other points of interest in the downtown area, including restaurants, shopping and live entertainment.

Our Collection

The Layland Collection consists of three-dimensional objects, photographs and archival documents. The museum’s abundant photography collection covers over 100 years of Johnson county history. The cataloging and digitizing of the photo collection is currently ongoing.
