Photography Collection

The museum’s abundant photography collection covers over 100 years of Johnson county history. The cataloging and digitizing of the photo collection is currently ongoing.

Reproductions of some photographs are available for purchase. Contact the museum for more information about the various photographs available.

Oral History Project

The museum is involved in collecting oral histories. These interviews allow us to record local historical information that may only exist in memory. We collect recordings of the memories of people’s families, occupations, churches, schools, property, etc. in order to ensure that the stories and information are not lost to time.

If you would like to suggest a person to be interviewed or are interested in volunteering to help with this project, please call 817-645-0940 or email [email protected]
